"Raketa" — the mark of watches which is let out by Petrodvorets watch factory — the oldest factory of Russia. The enterprise was included into number 13 of the largest watch factories of Soviet Union where mass production of watches for personal use has been adjusted. The watches "Raketa" made in Petrodvorets, were exported more than to 30 countries of the world.

The first party of watches of mark "Raketa" was published in 1962. The name of watches was dictated by an epoch — on April, 12th, 1961 by the ship Vostok-1 Yury Gagarin has made the first flight in the history of mankind in a space. This event also should reflect the name "Raketa".
